MetLife dental insurance remains a popular investment option for anyone looking to save money on oral healthcare. At Green Hills Dental Center, Dr. Kirby is an in-network MetLife dentist in Green Hills who not only offers affordable treatment options but also keeps fees low for preventive and restorative care. We recognize how essential it is to have access to these services, so we invite you to call and speak with a member of our team to learn how you can avoid high out-of-pocket costs when visiting our office.

MetLife Coverage Availability & Fees

As you review your MetLife dental insurance plan, you will see there are substantial savings you can take advantage of when receiving preventive or restorative treatment. Although they offer different plans with varying coverage options, some of the same benefits apply:

  • 100% preventive dental care (i.e., dental exams and cleanings)
  • 80% minor restorative dental care (i.e., tooth-colored fillings)
  • 50% major restorative dental care (i.e., dental crowns, dentures)

Orthodontics may or may not be included. You will need to check your policy before deciding whether you need to buy a supplemental plan to ensure coverage for you or a family member.

As long as you meet your annual deductible, you can expect MetLife to pay its share of your bill. Of course, they will look at how much of your funds remain available within your annual maximum. If you are nearing this threshold, we will do our best to spread your care across calendar years to help you save.

The Benefits of Seeing an In-Network Dentist

You are under no obligation to see an in-network dentist with your MetLife insurance; however, if you want to avoid high costs that often come with oral healthcare, you’ll find there are many benefits to choosing someone who is in-network:

  • Preventive and restorative treatment costs will remain low, with some covered by MetLife (i.e., dental exams and cleanings).
  • Billing is fully streamlined, as your dental team will handle all claims forms and paperwork required for insurance approval.
  • Higher standards set forth by the insurance company to ensure your dentist abides by and delivers exceptional care.
  • Predictable cost estimates so you are not surprised by any bills or unexpected expenses
